Anti Racist Books
The Black Lives Matter movement in 2020 is the biggest civil rights movement to date. It is so important for all of us to continue to educated ourselves and others on systemic racism and what we can do to help fight against it. It's time for us to reflect on our past actions (nobody's perfect), learn from it, and be better. Will you be a part of this movement or will you watch from the sidelines?
"If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor."
- Desmond Tutu
I haven't gotten the chance to read all of the books listed below but they are highly recommended. So far I've read Americanah and The Hate U Give (there's also a movie btw if you can't purchase the book). Educate yourself by learning from the experiences of BIPOC. There is no excuse not to.
